Vona Alma Green Williams, age 96, Hamilton, Alabama passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Hamilton Alabama on Tuesday, August 09, 1921 to James Daniel Hamilton Green and Vera Flowers Palmer.
Visitation will be Friday, December 15, 2017, 5-9 p.m. at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. The service will Saturday, 2 p.m. December 16, 2017 at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Elvis Cochran officiating. Burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Williams; sons, Dwight Williams, Ottis Hugh Williams, daughter-in-law, Fay Williams; parents, James Daniel Hamilton Green & Vera Flowers Palmer; siblings, Alvin Green, Velma Nichols, Calvin Dawes Green, Ruby Holley, George Green, Joseph Green, J.H. Green, Barbara Brand.
She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Hubert Edsel Williams (Sue), James Roy Williams (wife, Gale), Jeronia Harriger (husband, Larry), Vivian Norman, Peggy Skelton (husband, Rick), Bo Williams, Joy Williams, Timothy Williams, Janie Garrett, Vickey Ford (husband, John), 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 76 nieces & nephews and a host of friends
