Shelia "Darlene Palmer, age 55, Hamilton, AL passed away Sunday, August 10,2014 at her residence. She had adrenal cancer. She was born in Hamilton AL on Wednesday,July 29, 1959, to Dorris Cleveland and June Tidwell Mann. Darlene was a faithful member of the Hamilton Church of Christ, where she loved teaching the children's classes, especially the Cradle Roll, a class composed of children from birth to 24 months old. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Hamilton Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 5p.m. with Ted Burleson officiating. Burial will be in the Burleson Cemetery, Haleyville, AL. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 37 years, Audie Johnny palmer; children, Nathan and Casey Palmer, Jeremiah and Samantha Palmer, Jared and Savannah Palmer; Grandchildren, Hannah, Jorgia and Kaden Palmer, Morgan and Ethan Palmer, Elektra and Makenlee Palmer and Noah Long; parents, Dorris and June Mann; brother, Douglas and Belinda Mann; sister, Donna Comer; sister-in-law, Carrol Works; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved spiritual family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, J.P. and Ida Tidwell, Talton and Floy Mann; and her mother-in-law, Faye Palmer. A special thank you to Jasper Gentiva Hospice.
