Rosey Mae McCarley, age 90, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Marion Regional Nursing Home. She was born in Alabama on Sunday, November 23, 1930 to Henry Jones and Lavada Burton Jones.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Todd Clippard officiating. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Obie McCarley; parents, Henry and Lavada Jones: daughter, Geneva McCarley; granddaughter, Carly Avery; brothers, Sam Jones, Earnest Jones; sisters, Estelle Weaver and Carrie Crow.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Ginger Avery (husband, Dwayne), Gloria Armstrong (husband, Larry); sister, Alpha Valdrow; grandchildren, Devon Avery, Kayla Merry (husband, Justin),Hannah Cole, Heath Cole; great-grandchildren, Jalen, Cohen, Aria, Makaiah Merry; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
