Roger Eugene Duke, age 67, of Guin, passed away on Monday, October 09, 2017 at Northwest Medical Center. He was born Thursday, January 26, 1950 to Eldridge and Mary Ellen Duke
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday 12,2017 in the chapel with Bro. Mark Riggs officiating. Burial will be at Hamilton Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by ; parents, Eldridge Duke Jr. and Mary Ellen Hanson Duke; grandparents, John Hanson and Minnie Wright Hanson, Eldridge Duke Sr and Erin Fikes Duke; nephew, Bradley Kenneth Watts.
He leaves to cherish her memory, wife, Fleeta Duke; sons, John Duke (wife, Julie), Jeremy Duke (wife, Melissa); step-sons, Phillip Wates ( wife, Sabrina), Richard Wates ( wife, Marsha); grandchildren, Pearson, Conner, Clayton, Addison Duke, Alexis , Madelyn Mason, Garrett, Mary Beth, Peyton, Kailee Wates; sisters, Dina Pozak, Nita Green,Debbie Nixon; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
