Richard Scogin age 64 of Hamilton, AL passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 in Hamilton He was born in Eustic, FL Sunday, November 16, 1947 to Robert Lee & Olive Durham Scogin.
The visitation will be 12 noon– 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Marion County Funeral Home. Service will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Marion County Funeral Home with burial in Love Joy Cemetery with military honors. Pastors, Harry Saylor, Jim Mullins & Gary Phillips will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Scogin & parents, Robert Lee & Olive Scogin.
He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Austin Lee Scogin & wife, Cindy, Aaron Richard Scogin & wife, Amy, Alina Scogin; grandsons, Caleb & Ryan Scogin; brothers, Coley Scogin & wife, Mary, Ronnie Scogin & wife, Gloria; sisters, Joyce Raynor & husband, Howard, Della Hylton & husband, Ronald, Deborah Channell & husband, Jimmy & a host of nieces, nephews & friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
