Norma L. Brooks of Hamilton, AL passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Marion Regional Medical Center in Hamilton, AL. She was born in Prescott Co., MO on Monday, January 22, 1934 to Leonard and Eva Dell Yielding Nixon.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, 6-8:00 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2009 at the Hamilton Church of Christ with burial in Shiloh Cemetery. Bro. Ted Burleson & Bro. Truitt Allison will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard & Eva Dell Nixon; brother, Leonard Ray & Woody B. Nixon & sisters, Ramona & Nova Lee Nixon.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Roy Brooks; children, Dr. Patricia Murphy & husband, Skip, Lynn Edward Brooks & wife, Joane, James Roy Brooks & wife, Jennifer & Kaye Angelyn Frost & husband, Gary; grandchildren, Chad & Dustin Banks, Jonathan, Connor & Jemma Brooks, Matthew Dillon Webb, Cody Frost & Michael Murphy; brothers, Joel Nixon & wife, Doris & Haywood Nixon & wife, Virginia; sisters, Margie Mays & husband Mickey, Genneta Cayson, Jetta Jewel & husband, David & Eva Carol Sartin.
