Maudie McRoy
Maudie McRoy age 91, of Hamilton, AL passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 at her residence. She
was born in Marion Co., AL on Sunday, September 4, 1921 to John G. and Margie V. Jackson Davis.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Hamilton Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Puney Sullins and Leslie McRoy; parents, John G. and Margie Davis and brother, John D. Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Ann West and husband, Alan; brother, Jim Davis and wife, Dale; sisters, Lena Ozell Cherry, Mildred McGuire and husband, Robert, Mary Sue Gann, Anna Rae Manscill; a host of nieces, nephews and a multitude of cherished friends.
Maudie was a faithful member of the Hamilton Church of Christ
and a long standing member of the Hamilton Cosmopolitan Club.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
