Lillie Mae Carter, age 76, of Hamilton, AL passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Johnson City TN. on Monday, February 20, 1939 to Bill and Tempie Byrd.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 6-8:00 P.M. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Marion County Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Barnsville Cemetery. Pastor John Holiday will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Carter; parents, Bill and Tempie Byrd; brother, Lee Byrd; sisters, Elsie and Dollie.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Ottis Carter; daughters, Cathy Clark (husband, Larry), Diane Carter, Vickie Pruitt (husband, Jerry); grandchildren, Lisa Ann Ray (husband, Douglas), James Clark, Jessica Pruitt, Steve Pruitt; great-grandchildren, Megan, Brianna, Braiden, Olivia, Braylie, Carter;
siblings: Charles Byrd, Louada Berger, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
