JOHN D. BICKERSTAFF
John D. Bickerstaff, age 77 of Hackleburg, AL passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Hackleburg, AL on Friday, May 26, 1933 to Kim E. and Odell Boyett Bickerstaff.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 12-2:00 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Marion County Funeral Home. Burial in Middle Cemetery with military honors. Dr. John Yeates will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kim E. and Odell Bickerstaff.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Faye Ledbetter Bickerstaff; sons, John D. Bickerstaff, Jr. and wife, Marian-Tampa, FL and Robert A. Bickerstaff-Holland, OH; stepson, Steve LeFan-Hackleburg, AL; stepdaughter, Penny Capasso and husband, Anthony-Hackleburg, AL; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
John was a proud member of the Hackleburg American Legion Post # 165.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
