James D. Lovett of Winfield, AL passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Marion Co., AL on Wednesday, December 11, 1935 to William Thomas and Beulah Grubbs Lovett.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 21, 2010 fron 1-2:00 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral.The service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home. Bro. Venlon Bradfield, Bro. Seth Channell and Bro. Tim Lovett will officiate. With burial in Cooper Cemetery, Detroit, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Beulah Lovett; brothers, Otto, Theo, Haden, Barto and Billy Lovett and sisters, Sylvua Lovett and Hazel Clark.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Dru Wallace Lovett; daughter, Lisa Lovett Hamilton and husband, Jason; grandsons, Hunter and Logan Hamilton; brother, J. P. Lovett; sister, Winnie Henderson and husband, Bill and a host of nieces and nephews.

Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
