James B. Godsey, age 71, Clanton, AL passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at Cedar Ridge Hospice House . He was born in Marion County Alabama on Tuesday, February 03, 1942 to Alex M. and Ida Rayburn Godsey.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 24, 2013, 12-2:00 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. With burial in Union Hill Cemetery
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex M. and Ida Rayburn Godsey; 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memory, brother, Shelton & Jane Godsey ( Booneville, MS.); special nephew, James Godsey; host of nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to David Carter.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
