Helen Jessie Johnson Chambless, age 89, of Hamilton, AL passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Marion Regional Nursing Home. She was born in Glens Ferry, Idaho on Thursday, March 31, 1927 to Emil and Mary Johnson.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 12-2:00 P.M. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home with Bro. Ted Burleson, Bro. Truitt Allison and Bro. Todd Clippard officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allison Thomas Chambless; son, Paul Edward Chambless; daughters, Sharon Patrick Chambless, Cherry Chambless; her parents; two brothers and two sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Ronald A. Chambless (wife, Anna), Ricky G. Chambless (wife, Jane), Bonnie E. Roberts; grandchildren, Ricky Thomas Chambless (Krista), Christopher Heath Chambless (Elisha), Ronald Lee Chambless (Crystal), David Lee Chambless (Chelsea),Jessica Allison Roberts, Jackie Thomas Peoples, Presha Darlene Winner (Carl), Teddy Shane Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Wilson, Wesley, Emma, Sarah, Kaylee, Reagan, Jake, Bo, Loxley, Em, Drake, Carson, Gage, Griffin, Kaitlyn, Karlie, Brady, Alex, Drew; sister, Jean Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
