Hattie Williams age 99 of Hamilton, AL passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Community Hospice-Verona, MS. She was born in Marion Co., AL on Wednesday, November 26, 1913 to George and Dovie Ballard Ridings.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, 12:30 pm–2:30 pm at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 2:30, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Marion County Funeral Home with burial in Barnesville Cemetery. Bro. Ted Burleson will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Caster Williams; daughter, Jana Wilson; son, Sonny Williams; parents George and Dovie Ridings; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Jean Baker-Detroit, AL Dean Mikel and husband, Kenneth-Marshall, AR, Alice Grace "Sue" Moody and husband, Joe-San Diego, CA; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Karr and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
