GLADYS "POLLY" WOODS
Gladys "Polly" Woods of Guin, AL passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at Sunset Manor Nursing Home-Guin. She was born in Hamilton, AL on Tuesday, May 25, 1943 to Charlie L. and Evelyn Rye Carter.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 27, 2013, 6-8:00 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Marion County Funeral Home with burial in Love Joy Cemetery-Beaverton. Bro. Edward Puckett and Bro. Keith Prince will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry "Bud" Woods; sons, Jerry Mack Cantrell, Steven Eric Cantrell; father, Charlie Carter and mother, Evelyn Linker.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Gail Smith and husband, Donnie; son; Keith Cantrell; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, James Paul Carter and wife, Linda, John Thomas Carter and wife, Judy, Dennis W. Carter and wife, Jeanie and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
