Era Mae Sanderson, age 85, of Hamilton, Al passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Marion Regional Nursing Home. She was  born in Hamilton, Alabama  on Monday, November 06, 1933 to Jessie Alvin and Linda Clark Clay.

Visitation will be 5-6 pm Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Marion County Funeral Home service will follow at 6 pm in the chapel with Bro. Eddie Ayers officiating. Burial will be  at Rocky Grove Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Sanderson;  parents, Jessie and Linda Clay; brothers, James Clay and Roy Clay.

She leaves to cherish her memory, children John Sanderson ( wife, Tanya), Linda Johnson (husband, Randy); brothers, Kenneth Clay (wife, Ann), LJ Clay; grandchildren, Ashton Sims (husband, Matt), Callie Wiginton (husband, Alex), Andrew Sanderson, Katelin Sanderson, Simon Sanderson, Gunner Johnson; great-grandchild, Lennox Hamner;  and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
