E. P. Sanderson age 64 of Detroit, AL passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Marion Regional Medical Center-Hamilton. He was born in Marion Co., AL on Thursday, May 20, 1948 to Eliga Phelon and Purnie Mixon Sanderson.
The visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Marion County Funeral Home. Service will be at 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Marion County Funeral Home with burial in Cooper Cemetery. Pastor Aaron Gann will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eliga Phelon and Purnie Sanderson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Martha Sue Cochran Sanderson; sons, Joey Wayne Sanderson and wife, Betty, Timmy Joe Sanderson; 6 grandchildren; brother, Olan Alvin Sanderson and wife, Emma; sister, Mary Alice Holloway and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
