D.L. "Dee" Howell Of Hamilton went to be with the Lord on December 08, 2017. He was born in Birmingham on June 11, 1926 toe the late D.L. "Dot" Howell and Princie Mays Howell. He is survived by his wife, Pat Howell of Hamilton; his son, Joel Howell of Hamilton; granddaughter, Molly Howell Wright (her husband Cory) of Madison, Alabama; grandsons, Justin Howell of Nashville, TN.; Jamison Howell of Washington, D.C.; great-granddaughters, Emma and Addison Wright of Madison, AL.
He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was also a long time university professor, educator and arbitrator.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Tim Meherg officiating.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
