Deborah Gaye Franklin Avery, age 64, of Hodges, AL passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Helen Keller Hospital. She was born in Chicago. Illinois on Tuesday, February 07, 1956 to D.W. Franklin and Kathy Sherrill Franklin.

Debbie was retired from CB&S Bank. She love the Lord and she loved her family and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 11-1:00 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Bro. Haigen Scott and Bro. Bradley Long will officiate and  burial at Hodges Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Franklin.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Danny Avery; father, D.W. Franklin; daughters, Danyel (Chris) Guth, Amy (Steven) Harper, Heidi Hargett; grandchildren, Tanner (Brittney) Holcomb, Matt(Emma Grace Emerson) Harper, Payton Guth, Tori Holcomb, Avery Harper, Anna Kate Cantrell, River Hargett; great-grandchild, Easton Krew Harper; sisters, Diane (Timmy) Ozbirn, Anna Kay (Mark) Holland; brother, Mike (Sussane) Franklin; special friend, Rebecca Ritch; and a host of nieces, nephews and friend.
