Clyde Hampton age 82 of Hamilton, AL passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Marion Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bear Creek AL on Monday, June 23, 1930 to Earl & Delma Pike Hampton.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 20, 2012, 12-2:00 pm at the Hamilton United Methodist Church. The service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Hamilton United Methodist Church with burial in Hamilton Memory Gardens. Bro. Mac Buttram & Bro. Billy Weems will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth "Liz", Goggans Hampton & parents, Earl & Delma Hampton.
He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Dale (Danny) Alexander, Leslee (Gary) Chafee, Richard (Rori) Hampton, Cynthia Hampton; grandchildren, Leah & Rachel Craig, Kevin & Maggie Chafee, Taryn & Teague Hampton, Benjamin Alexander, Alisa Robinson, Adam Alexander; great grandchild, Sydney Robinson; siblings, Glynda (George) Jones, David (Toni) Hampton, Martha (Jim) Schuh, Mary (Larry) Thrasher & a host of nieces, nephews & special friends.
