Brenda Carter Oswalt, age 70, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at UAB in Birmingham. She was born in Hamilton, Alabama on Tuesday, May 15, 1951 to Cecil and Buna Carter.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2021 at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be 2 p..m.  Monday at Barnesville Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Fleming officiating and burial at Memorial Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Oswalt;  son, Douglas Oswalt; parents, Cecil and Buna Carter; siblings, Melba Austin Joyce, Jerry Carter.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Lisa Smith, Hamilton, Alabama, Michael Oswalt, Hamilton, Alabama, Kristie Donald (husband, Scot), Springville, Alabama; grandchildren, Courtney Oswalt, Gardendale, Alabama; Kaitlin Smith, Hamilton, Alabama, Katherine Donald, Springville, Alabama, Blake Donald, Springville, Alabama; great grandson, Raiden Taylor, Hamilton, Alabama, brother, Tommy Carter and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
