Billy Wayne Nix age 71 of Guin, AL passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Northwest Medical Center-Winfield. He was born on Sunday, October 26, 1941 in Marion Co., AL to Claude and Lilly Gilmore Nix.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 30, from 2:00 –3:00 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, at the Marion County Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Guin City Cemetery. Bro. Randy Wright and Bro. Danny Williams will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Nix and parents, Claude and Lilly Nix.
He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Betty Pearce and husband, Tim, Peggy Haney; grandchildren, Dwayne Haney and wife, Haley, Daniel Haney, Mackenzie Pearce; great grandson, Spencer Haney; sisters, Etoil McDonald, Janice Wolford, Elaine Weaver, Weeder Ledlow, Joyce Griffin , Shelby Lambert and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
