Betty Mays Godsey, age 86, of Hamilton, AL, passed away on Thursday, August 01, 2024, at Marion County Nursing Home. She was born in Alabama on October 01, 1937, to Howard Mays and Grace Glascock Mays.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 03, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home.

The service will be at 2 p.m. August 04, 2024, at Hamilton Church of Christ with Bro. Ryan Gallagher officiating. The interment will be at Hamilton Memory Gardens.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Godsey; son, Ronnie; daughter, Donna; parents, Howard and Grace Mays; sister, Margaret Frederick Feltman.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Gary Godsey (wife, Debra); grandchildren, Jamie Godsey (wife, Kristen), Jackie Godsey, Amanda Bryant (husband, Jeremy) Angie Blackstock, Shelby Patterson, Jared Jones; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Emmie, Bianca, Jazz, LeAnn, Colt, Brynleigh; sister, Linda Williams (husband, Rene); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
