BERNICE GARNER DAVIS
Bernice Garner Davis age 87 of Hamilton, AL passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Marion Regional Nursing Home. She was born in Lawrence Co., AL on Monday, November 10, 1924 to Carl and Lily Standridge Garner.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 12:00 —2:00 pm at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Marion County Funeral Home with burial in Green Springs Cemetery-Guin. Bro. Roger Akers will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Davis; parents, Carl and Lily Garner; brothers, Orbie, Levard, Arvel, R.L. and Austin Garner and half sisters,
Edith Garner Spann and Ella Rae Standridge Tucker.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Lynda Davis Gowder and husband,Mack; sons, Richard Duraine Davis and wife, Carolyn and Larry Wayne Davis and wife, Linda; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces , nephews and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
