Annie Merle Wilkerson Russell, age 78 of Hamilton, AL passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at her residence.
She was born in Union Springs,, Alabama, on November 24 , 1943 to Charlie E. Wlikerson and Francis Pawnee Lambert Wilkerson.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 01, 2022 from 2-3 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home, service will follow at 3 p.m. with Bro. Mark Collier officiating. The interment will be at Winfield City Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her, husband, Joe Alan Russell; parents, Charlie E. and Francis Wilkerson; siblings, Charlie C. Wilkerson, Sammy Wilkerson, Edward Wilkerson, Sarah Burke..
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Neal Russell (Jennifer), Nancy Colburn ( Johnny),Norman Russell, (Julie); grandchildren, Amber Swinney, Clark Jones, Ashley Goodwin (Matt),
Emily Russell, Jacob Russell, Benjamin Russell; great-grandchildren, Braxton Pilkington, Kenton Pilkington, John Graydon Goodwin; sibling, Carolyn Woolley, Jewel Shierling; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
